The identity of any community is defined by its language, culture, and heritage. A community that forgets its language, culture, and heritage ceases to exist. Keeping this in mind, in 2013 the Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists ASSOCIATION demand to give Jammu Doordarshan Kendra the status of a satellite Duggar channel,so that language, culture, and heritag of Duggar land could reach every household. Doordarshan is a strong medium that can educate and entertain people.
A team of Doordarshan Approved Drama Artists Association Jammu today setup their signatures campaign here in Tehsil R.S Pura to sought the support of general public of R.S.Pura at both Tehsil and District level to established the Satellite Duggar Channel in Jammu region. The team comprised of Sh. J.S Babli (President) Sh.Madan Rangila (Vice President) ,Sh Janak Khajuria,(spoks person) Dr.Kamal Sharma, Sh. Harbans Sharma, and Shambhu Ram.
A significant number of residents from various walks of life and remote boarder areas of Tehsil R.S.Pura signed in support of the Satellite Duggar Channel. The public appreciated DADAA’s efforts to protect the cultural heritage, art and languages of Duggar Pardesh. They assured their all supports for this noble cause.
President Sh. J.S. Babli in R.S. Pura Tahsil high- lighted the importance of the Satellite Duggar Channel, stating, “This channel is essential to promote the Dogri language,art and culture of Duggar land world- wide.
Madan Rangila Vice President of DADAA, reaffirmed the association’s commitment to achieving this goal. He appealed to all residents of Duggar land to unite in support of the Satellite Duggar Channel “We will continue our struggle until we achieve our target,
