In a heartfelt morning assembly, the students, teachers, and management of Rich Harvest School paid tribute to the brave souls of Kargil on Kargil Vijay Diwas. The solemn ceremony began with a prayer led by Preeti Rajput Ma’am, who offered a moving remembrance of the nation’s martyrs.
Kanika from Class 8th recited a poignant poem, followed by a song by Parambhav of Class 6th. The students then sang the patriotic anthem “Vande Mataram,” filling the atmosphere with national pride.
Vice Principal Dr. Anita Sharma inspired the students with her own composition, “Ae Desh Ke Veero Jago,” invoking deep patriotic fervor. Principal madam, Anita Bhatia ji delivered an emotional speech, narrating the sacrifices of soldiers’ mothers and wives, and sharing the heroic story of Captain Vikram Batra, which left everyone deeply moved. She emphasized the daily remembrance and inspiration we should draw from these martyrs.
Students penned heartfelt letters to the mothers of the martyrs, bringing tears to many eyes. The assembly concluded with two minutes of silence in honor of the fallen heroes, followed by the national anthem, leaving a profound impact on all attendees.
