Students of Dogra Hr. Sec. School remembers the brave hearts of the nation on Kargil Vijay Diwas
Dogra Hr Sec School in Shastri Nagar, Jammu, celebrated Kargil Vijay Diwas with a great patriotic fervor. The event commemorated the bravery and sacrifices of the Indian soldiers during the Kargil War.
Manager of DHSS, Kunwar Gambhir Dev Singh Charak highlighed the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas while paying homage to the martyrs.
Miss Shivani, lecturer of Hindi captivated the audience with her moving poetry, in honour of the soldiers and their families.
Mohit, a student of class – 7th, gave a heartfelt presentation on the topic, reflecting on the bravery and supreme sacrifices made during the Kargil conflict.
A solemn tribute was paid by lighting candles. The ceremony was led by Vice Principal Mrs. Gagandeep Bedi, Headmaster Mr. Ganesh Das Gupta, Co-ordinator Mrs Ritika Sharma, along with other staff members and students, honoring the memory of the brave soldiers.
The event concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among all attendees.
The celebration served as a reminder of the courage and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces and reinforced the importance of patriotism and national pride among the students.
