Pays tribute to Soldiers Martyred in Doda encounter

Purnima Sharma, Spokesperson of BJP J&K and former Deputy Mayor, has expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of five soldiers, including an Army Captain, in a fierce encounter with terrorists in Doda district. She extended her heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs and saluted their bravery and supreme sacrifice.
In a statement issued here today, Adv Purnima reaffirmed the Modi government’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism from Jammu and Kashmir. She stressed the need for continued vigilance and robust security measures to prevent such tragic incidents in the future. “The martyrdom of our soldiers is a stark reminder of the challenges we face in our fight against terrorism. However, their sacrifice will inspire us to remain steadfast in our mission to secure peace and stability in the region,” she said and called upon the people of Jammu and Kashmir to remain united and support the security forces in their efforts to combat terrorism. Sharma praised the government’s proactive approach in strengthening counter-terrorism strategies and enhancing coordination among various security agencies. She also emphasized the importance of community involvement in identifying and reporting suspicious activities to prevent terrorist infiltration.
