Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) is celebrating its 50th Foundation Day, marking five decades of dedicated service to the people of India. On this momentous occasion, the Jammu LPG Region of HPCL extends heartfelt gratitude to all its customers and patrons. As part of the celebration, HPCL is proud to share key messages and initiatives aimed at improving transparency, safety, and customer experience.
Speaking to media persons today, Nikunj Shukla, Deputy General Manager of HPCL Jammu and Kashmir, along with Brajesh Kumar, Manager Sales, Jammu Sales Area, and Sunil Waldia, Senior Area Sales Officer, HPCL Jammu, outlined several important initiatives.
Nikunj Shukla said One of the key announcements was the enhancement of the home delivery system for LPG cylinders. Customers can now book a refill through multiple convenient channels such as IVRS (9086023456), WhatsApp (9222201122), missed call (9493602222), HP Pay App, e-commerce platforms like Paytm and Amazon, and the online HP Portal (https://myhpgas.in). Upon booking, customers will receive a confirmation message containing a “Delivery Authentication Code” (DAC). This code must be shared with the delivery personnel to ensure that the refill is delivered to the correct recipient, thereby enhancing transparency and security. He said E-KYC is being conducted to authenticate customers and ensure all benefits are passed on, enhancing transparency in refill delivery. While there is no strict time limit for this process, timely completion will lead to better and more transparent delivery services. Nikunj Shukla said customer safety is paramount due to the flammable nature of LPG. HPCL is promoting free safety checks of LPG installations, carried out by authorized distributor staff who will also guide customers on LPG safety, he added.
Nikunj Shukla said that a significant safety measure includes the introduction of a 3-layered highly safe Suraksha Hose, which is rodent-proof, fire-proof, and has a lifespan of 5 years. Customers are advised to purchase genuine Suraksha Hoses from authorized distributors and replace them every 5 years. During safety inspections, any non-standard or expired hoses will be replaced with valid and safe Suraksha Hoses, he added.
