Indian Army successfully organised a medical camp in Village Troti located in the Jaurian Division. This initiative is a significant part of our ongoing commitment to civil development and providing aid to the civil population in and around the area of responsibility, aiming to reach and support the maximum number of needful people. The medical camp saw a remarkable turnout from the local community, with hundreds of residents availing the free medical services provided. The camp was manned by a dedicated team of medical professionals from the Indian Army and civil administration including doctors, nurses, and support staff, who provided their expertise and care to ensure the health and well-being of the villagers. Key services provided during the camp included, ‘General Health Check-Ups’ for all age groups to detect and treat common ailments early, Specialist Consultations (Access to specialist doctors in fields such as Orthopedics and ENT), Medicinal Distribution (Free distribution of essential medicines as prescribed by the attending doctors) and Health Education (Informative sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and preventive healthcare measures to empower the local population with knowledge for maintaining good health). In addition to the medical services, the camp included awareness programs on various health issues to enhance the community’s understanding of preventive healthcare.
