The Centre for Molecular Biology at the Central University of Jammu is pleased to announce the commencement of the admission process for its prestigious M.Sc program in Biotechnology for the academic session 2024-26. This program, supported by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, offers a unique opportunity for aspiring biotechnologists.
There are only ten seats available and admission is based on GAT-B 2024 score. Each student admitted for the program will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs 5000 for the entire duration of the two years degree program. This year’s admission process for academic session 2024-26 has commenced and the first merit list for admission shall be released on 15 July 2024. This year the Centre has received an overwhelming response with approximately 270 applications from GAT-B qualified aspiring candidates for the ten available seats for admission to the prestigious program.
