Indian Army Dul organised a medical and veterinary camp at Swid village, Dachhan region of Kishtwar district to address the growing healthcare needs of the locals in the village of Swid in Dachhan region and its surrounding areas. The camp aimed to provide essential medical services to the residents of the region, who often need to travel to Kishtwar for both minor and major health issues concerning people and livestock.
The Regimental Medical Officer of Indian Army, Dul alongwith the district medical staff, conducted a medical and veterinary camp at Swid village in Dachhan region, which saw a large turnout of residents. A total of 295 patients benefited from the camp (Including 140 males, 108 females, 47 children and 82 Cattles). Additionally, a lecture on health-related issues was delivered by the Regimental Medical Officer. The medical and veterinary camp was highly appreciated by the residents of Swid and the Dachhan region. Locals expressed their desire for more such camps in future. The initiative was instrumental in enhancing the overall health state of the local populace and their livestock. The continued and relentless efforts of the Indian Army in conducting such camps have been greatly appreciated and praised by the public. This camp has also served as a hub for broad-based interaction between the Indian Army and the villagers.
