Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) President Arun Prabhat has strongly condemned the recent statement made by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi regarding Hindus during his speech at the Lok Sabha yesterday.
In a powerful rebuttal, Arun Prabhat expressed his dismay and disappointment over the remarks, describing them as not only offensive but also deeply divisive. He stated, “Rahul Gandhi’s statement in the Lok Sabha yesterday was an affront to the Hindu community and a blatant attempt to polarize society along religious lines. Such comments are not only irresponsible but also detrimental to the unity and integrity of our nation.”
Arun Prabhat emphasized the importance of respecting all religions and communities, urging political leaders to act responsibly and refrain from making statements that could incite hatred or discord. “At a time when India is striving for greater inclusivity and harmony, it is disheartening to witness such divisive rhetoric from a prominent leader,” he added. The BJYM President called upon Rahul Gandhi to issue an immediate apology for his remarks and to retract his statement to mitigate the damage caused.
He also appealed to the Speaker of the Lok Sabha to take appropriate action against such conduct to maintain the decorum and sanctity of the Parliament. Also, BJYM activists burned the effigy of the Rahul Gandhi in front of the Congress Party Headquarter at Shahidi Chowk, Residency Road Jammu and also raised the slogan “Hinduon ka Apmaan nahi sahega Hindustan”. Present at the Protest were General Secretary Abhishek Slathia, Vice Presidents Himja Mengi, Ishant Gupta, District Presidents Kanav Sharma, Jatinder slathia with their teams, and State Secretaries Surekha Jamwal, Amit Sharma, Rishab Sharma, Sagar Kotwal, Abhiudit Koushal along with many other Karyakartas.
