Indian Army Conducts Summer classes and Distributed of Books and Stationery To Gujjar And Bakarwal’s Children At Suinar, Poonch

Indian Army conducted summer classes and distributed ‘Books and Stationery’ to the under privileged students, primarily hailing from Gujjar& Bakkarwal Community. The assistance was also extended to children of those families who migrate with Deras to higher reaches of Pir Panjal and also to those even it was distributed to the children of villages with bare minimum educational facilities. The aim of the initiative was to spread awareness towards compulsory education for all children in the society, which will lead to overall development of the community. The project also enabled the Indian Army reach out to the remote area residents and provide them with basic educational amenities to the under privileged children. A total of 22 students & locals benefitted with the said initiative.
