The birth anniversary of Dr.Suraj Parkash, founder Bharat Vikas Parishad which is a non-political Organization was celebrated by BVP Tridev Branch Shastrinagar. On this occasion a small but an impressive function was organized in which Pooja Archna was performed in Hanumam Temple,, BC Road Jammu and rich tributes were paid to Dr. Suraj Parkash.
Subsequently a large Bhandara was served in the same complex . The food was served to over 100 needy persons besides Yatris.
Shri Arun Sharma, National Committee Member, National Group Song Competition threw light on the five main principles of BVP I.e. SAMPARK, SEHJOG, SANSKAR, SEWA AND SAMARPAN. He appealed the people present there to follow these principles . Among others, prominent persons who participated in the function were S/Shri Bharat Bhushan Sharma, President, BVP, JK Prant, Shiv Ram Sharma, General Secretary, BVP,, JK Prant, Shri Gurdas Sharma, General Secretary, Jammu Yatri Bhawan, Smt.Kailas Mohani, Mahilla and Bal Vikas Purmukh and Smt.Suman Khanna, Sewa Purmukh, BVP Tridev Branch, Shastrinagar, Jammu.
The key organizers were S/Shri Shiv Ram Sharma, General Secretary, BVP, JK Prant, ML Padha, Brita Ram Sharma, Jagdish Singh Salathia, and Darshan Gupta President, Secretary, Treasurer and organizing Secretary respectively. Shri Pawan Shastri, President, Jammu Yatri Bhawan was Chief Guest in the function.
