RAMBAN, June 20
The District Administration Ramban, led by Deputy Commissioner Baseer-Ul-Haq Chaudhary, successfully organized a live streaming event of the youth-oriented program “Empowering Youth, Transforming J&K” from the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar.
The event was marked by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interaction with the youth and was held at various locations including the District Headquarters and educational institutions across the district.
Over 1,500 young participants from Ramban virtually engaged in the live session, where they witnessed the Prime Minister laying the foundation stone and inaugurating 84 major developmental projects in Jammu and Kashmir.
These projects, valued at more than Rs. 1,500 crore, are set to significantly boost the region’s infrastructure and economic growth.
Additionally, the Prime Minister launched the Competitiveness Improvement in Agriculture and Allied Sectors (JKCIP) Project, worth Rs. 1,800 crore, aiming to enhance agricultural productivity and sustainability in the region.
The Prime Minister’s interaction served as a source of inspiration, encouraging young achievers to contribute actively to the region’s transformation. Key officers in attendance at the Ramban live streaming included ADC Varunjeet Singh Charak, GM DIC Ravinder Anand, DIO Ashraf Wani, ARTO Sheetal Sharma, CMO, CAO, CHO, CEO, and representatives from the Municipal Council of Ramban. Their presence underscored the importance of the event in mobilizing community support and fostering a collaborative spirit for development initiatives. In anticipation of the 10th International Day of Yoga on June 21, 2024, the Prime Minister extended his greetings and shared the theme for the day, “Yoga for Self and Society,” highlighting the significance of yoga in promoting individual well-being and community harmony.
