In an exhilarating celebration of nature and adventure, the Trikuta Trek for cadets of CATC-J1 from various districts—Jammu, Kathua, Samba, Poonch, Rajouri, Bhaderwah, Reasi and Udhampur was organized on 19 Jun 2024 to the picturesque Trikuta Hills. This spectacular event was not just an adventurous endeavor but a profound blend of thrill and learning, offering participants an opportunity to immerse themselves in the untouched beauty and cultural richness of the region.
Nestled in the heart of Jammu and Kashmir, the Trikuta Hills are renowned for their ethereal landscapes and serene vistas, providing an idyllic backdrop for the trek. The event, meticulously organized by the 2J&K Girls Battalion running the camp under the aegis of Jammu,Kashmir and Ladakh Directorate, aimed to foster a sense of camaraderie and resilience among the cadets.
As they traversed the undulating terrains and meandering trails, the cadets were greeted by panoramic views of lush green valleys, majestic peaks, and tranquil streams, creating an unforgettable tapestry of nature’s splendor.
Each step of the journey was laden with adventure and discovery. The cadets, equipped with the spirit of exploration, navigated through dense forests, crossed sparkling rivers, and scaled challenging heights, all the while forging bonds of friendship and unity. ANO’s and PI Staff as mentors accompanied the trekkers, sharing insights and anecdotes that enriched the experience, making it a holistic journey of mind, body, and spirit.
