Yudhvir Sethi, J&K BJP Vice-President, today flagged off the Chhari Yatra of Saroli Mata by lighting the Holy Jyot at the Mahalaxmi Temple in Pacca Danga, Jammu. The Yatra, organized by the Nav Durga Trust, concluded at Pancheri Block in Udhampur district. Before the commencement of the Chhari Yatra, Yudhvir Sethi, along with Rajesh Bhardwaj, Chairman of Nav Durga Trust, and other prominent personalities, performed Pooja and offered prayers for the peace and prosperity of the Union Territory. The ceremonial prayers set a spiritual tone for the event, emphasizing the significance of the journey.
Addressing the devotees present at the event, Yudhvir Sethi highlighted the spiritual and social importance of the Chhari Yatra. “This Yatra is not only a religious pilgrimage but also a journey towards peace and harmony. It is a symbol of our collective prayers for the well-being of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
He expressed hope that the Chhari Yatra would contribute to peace and tranquility among different sections of society, fostering a sense of unity and brotherhood. “The Chhari Yatra brings together people from diverse backgrounds, promoting unity and celebrating our rich cultural diversity. It is an embodiment of our shared values and traditions,” Sethi added. Sethi further praised the efforts of the Nav Durga Trust in organizing this spiritual journey.
“The Nav Durga Trust has done commendable work in organizing this Yatra. Their efforts not only strengthen religious sentiments but also foster brotherhood and unity among individuals. Such initiatives are crucial in maintaining the social fabric of our society,” he stated.
The Chhari Yatra, a significant event in the religious calendar of Jammu and Kashmir, attracted a large number of devotees who participated with great enthusiasm and devotion.
The journey to Pancheri Block in Udhampur was marked by chants, hymns, and prayers, creating a serene and pious atmosphere.
