Th. Gulchain Singh Charak congratulates PM Modi for third term of NDA-3

DOGRA HERALD BUREAU
SRINAGAR, June 12
The Dogra Sadar Sabha (DSS), under the leadership of Th. Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and President of DSS, has earnestly requested for meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to discuss pressing issues affecting the Jammu region.
While extending heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Modi on the successful formation of the NDA-3 government, Th Gulchain Singh Charak wished Prime Minister Modi a very successful and prosperous five-year tenure, leading Bharat to new heights and glory.
While celebrating the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Charak wished to bring attention to some pressing issues facing the Jammu region. Historically subjected to deprivation under past systems, Jammu continues to suffer despite landmark developments such as the new rail and road connectivity to Katra and Kashmir. These projects have inadvertently deprived Jammu of traditional pilgrimage and tourist footfall, leading to severe economic downturns affecting trade, business, hospitality, and transport services. Additionally, the new road alignment has destabilized the region’s topography, causing a disaster akin to Uttarakhand’s sinking land mass and cracking hillsides in Ramban, he added.
He appealed to Prime Minister Modi to give some time from his busy schedule to the Dogra Sadar Sabha to present these urgent issues in person. A detailed memorandum outlining these concerns will be submitted once the government has settled and departmental appointments are finalized.
