The Jammu and Kashmir Medical Employees Federation (JKMEF) along with its sister organizations convened an important meeting today at the federation office under the chairmanship of President Sh. Sushil Sudan. The core agenda revolved around thoroughly discussing and addressing the longstanding grievances and burning issues afflicting healthcare employees across Jammu and Kashmir.
Regular Salary of FMPHW of 2211 Head from the State Budget, timely conducting of DPC of all categories, Release of pending GP Fund of employees, Creation of Senior Pharmacist Post in all NTPHC creation of Junior Ophthalmic Tech at all PHC’S , Defreeze and Filling up of vacant post of all categories,Re-designate the Post of Pharmacist as Pharmacy Officer on the analogy of other States, Early Payment of Gratuity to all retirees,Payment of Pending Covid-19 incentives to the Health employees, Representatives from various health employee associations participated and voiced their concerns regarding matters like pay anomalies, promotion backlogs, inadequate workforce, lack of infrastructure and equipment at several facilities. President Sh.Sushil Sudan emphasized the federation’s commitment to relentlessly pursue the resolution of these issues through peaceful means and continuous dialogue with the administration. He reassured the employees that their rights and welfare will remain the topmost priority.
The meeting concluded with a consensus on formulating a plan of action incorporating suggestions from all stakeholders. The federation will soon submit formal representations to the concerned authorities, urging them to take prompt measures that uplift the morale and working conditions of the healthcare staff serving the people of Jammu and Kashmir with dedication.
