Various political and social parties in Jammu have strongly condemned the much talked statements of the Prime Minister and BJP’s star campaigner and
EC notice to ShivSena(UBT) on “Jai Bhavani” in their campaign.
While jointly addressing the media in Jammu today, the leaders of various parties said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while speaking at an election rally in Rajasthan and Karnataka, said that if the Congress comes to power, their land, gold and all the property will be snatched and distributed among the infiltrators and those who have more children. He also mentioned ‘Mangal Sutra’ , which is the honor of our mothers and sisters, and said that even this will not be safe. The speakers said that due to the voting not going in its favor in the first phase, the BJP has resorted to its familiar hate speech, Narendra Modi is tarnishing the dignity of the post of Prime Minister in his speeches. Along with this, raising questions on the Election Commission’s notice regarding “Jai Bhavani” in Shiv Sena’s campaign song, he said that the Election Commission’s claims of giving a level playing field are hollow like the BJP guarantees. Only one party in the country has the freedom to say and speak anything. In the last two days, thousands of people have lodged their complaints through various media against the Prime Minister’s hate speech.
All the leaders present have demanded the Election Commission of India to take strict action against such hate speeches. On this occasion, State President of Shiv Sena (UBT) Manish Sahni, senior leader of Aam Aadmi Party Safir Chaudhary, famous journalist and social worker Mir Shahid Salim, Aam Aadmi Party spokesperson Nirmal Mahana, political activist Altaf Hussain Shah, Amrik Singh Sasan, Kuldeep Singh Sikh analyst and many other dignitaries were present and addressed the media.
