Senior BJP leader and Member of Parliament (RS), Gulam Ali Khatana has said that people of Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory should overwhelmingly vote in favour of BJP candidates in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections starting from April 19, 2024 as the party in the last 10 years has accomplished historic developments in the UT under the leadership of PM Modi.
Addressing a large number of public gatherings during his visit to different areas of Basoli, Bani, Billawar, Rajbagh, Heeranagar etc in Kathua district Khatana said that BJP has brought a change in administration in the country by adopting the principles of honesty and hard work.
“We have to vote for BJP as it has stopped corruption and now works are done without any considerations for something in return,” he said adding that over 300 houses have been constructed in Kathua alone in an honest manner and nothing was demanded from anyone in return and this type of culture was nowhere seen in the country earlier.
The firebrand BJP leader said that middle man culture for getting works done in government office as also ended now and there is no discrimination under the leadership of PM Modi for any particular religion, region, sub-region, colour or creed as developments are taking place equally in every nook and corner of the country.
“The loyal public of J&K and also that of the country has welcomed such progress, developments and honest work culture and wants the same to continue further for which the public will surely vote overwhelmingly in favour of BJP candidates to give the party over 400 LS seats in upcoming general elections which will also include the five seats from J&K and one from Ladakh Union Territory and the big victory for BJP in turn will usher the way for third term for PM Modi to helm the affairs of world’s largest democracy,” MP Khatana maintained.
He also said that such developments never took place under the rule of Congress which was busy in scams and scandals.
“Congress is responsible for killing masses in J&K in collaboration with NC and PDP by pushing the state into terrorism so that Abdullahs, Muftis and Gandhis may continue in power,” Khatana maintained adding: “Congress, NC and PDP candidates visited public only for votes and after winning they never showed their face.”
