The Placement & Counseling Cell of Dogra Degree College orchestrated an enriching interactive session on CV Writing for 2nd-semester BBA, B.Com, and BA students today, within the premises of the college multipurpose hall. Approximately 50 students from BBA, BA, and B.Com programs actively participated in this insightful session, aimed at equipping them with essential skills for their future career endeavors.
The session featured Ravinder Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Dogra Degree College, as the resource person for the day. He delivered a comprehensive discourse on the intricacies of crafting effective CVs tailored to individual skills and experiences. His guidance emphasized the critical role of a well-crafted CV in showcasing qualifications and achievements, ultimately leaving a lasting impression on potential employers.
The event proved to be a fruitful knowledge-gaining experience, with students receiving high-quality guidance on aligning their long-term career goals with their personal aspirations. Mr. Kumar’s insights underscored the importance of professionalism and attention to detail in the CV writing process. The organization of this interactive session was spearheaded by Preeti Sharma, Placement Officer, in collaboration with Shivani Kashyap, under the esteemed guidance of Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal of Dogra Degree College. The presence and support of faculty members including Amanpreet, Ashish, Shiksha, Aditi, and Priyanka further enriched the learning experience for the students.
