Three Days Orientation Programme for Unit Leaders and Tritiya Sopan Camp for Scouts and Guides was held at Kud, Patnitop District Udhampur. In both the programs 56 participants from District Jammu, Samba and Udhampur took active part. Both the Programmes were conducted under the supervision of Mtr. Nasreen Khan, State Secretary cum Administrative Officer and other state Officials. Programmes were conducted in a healthy and smooth manner where Staff Members gave their best to enhance the Scouting and Guiding Knowledge of Unit Leaders, Scouts and Guides.
Orientation programs for unit leaders are essential for providing training, fostering camaraderie, and enhancing skills among Unit Leaders. Through the Orientation they not only enhance their leadership development but also help in instilling values like teamwork, outdoor skills, and community service. Conducting such Orientation reflects a commitment to the holistic development of the Unit Leader and contributes to building a stronger community.
Each day camp began with prayer and flag hoisting ceremony which was followed by the daily routine chart. The Unit Leaders, Scouts and Guides found their respective programme as the best opportunity to transform their lives and boost their morale to bring in themselves a sense of responsibility enriched with special education and teaching skills. The well qualified and skilled Staff members made participants learn various techniques to nurture their own knowledge and experiences.
Unit Leaders were also able to learn the new trends/programmes/updates of Scouting and Guiding while Scouts and Guides were able to know the importance of Tritiya Sopan and they learned various things as per the APRO II and III.
Orientation for Unit Leaders and Tritiya Sopan Camp for Scouts and Guides was conducted by Smt. Ranjana Gandotra ALT (District Secretary), Smt. Manjeet Kour ALT Joint State Training Commissioner, Shri. K L Sharma Pre-ALT HQ. Commissioner along with invited Staff members.
