Freedom Fighters Memorial Association (FFMA) organized a programme to remember freedom fighters Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev at Maheshpura Chowk, Jammu. The programme was presided over by the Association Chairman, Rajiv Mahajan while Patron-in-chief, Ved Gandotra was also present. Speaking on the occasion, Rajiv Mahajan said that India today needs the principles of the late freedom fighters like never before.
Rajiv Mahajan, while paying glorious tributes to Bhagat Singh who laid down his life for the sacred cause of freedom at a young age, said that the ideals and principles of Bhagat Singh must act as a torch bearer for the youth in today’s society in which people are playing good and fragmenting human kind on the basis of caste, creed and religion.
He added that the young generation of India will always continue to draw inspiration from these great revolutionaries who sacrificed their lives with smiles on their face for the freedom of country. Soluting their martyrdom, Rajiv Mahajan observed that the sacrifices made by the revolutionaries in India’s freedom struggle would always inspire the youth to serve selflessly towards the better interest of the nation.
“Their sacrifice and courage will forever be remembered by the generations to come,” he added.
