Dogra Degree, Law, and College of Education, in collaboration with the ICT Academy, successfully concluded a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on ‘Digital Marketing’ from March 18th to March 22nd, 2024.
The FDP aimed to equip faculty members with advanced knowledge and tools in Digital Marketing through engaging sessions with industry experts. Participants enthusiastically engaged with speakers who shared extensive insights on various aspects of Digital Marketing.
The Valedictory Session, graced by Thakur Gulchain Singh Charak, Former Minister and Chairman of Dogra Educational Trust, marked the formal conclusion of the FDP. Mr. Charak expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the program and presented mementos to key contributors including Aditya Jha, Technical Trainer, ICT Academy, Ajaz Yousuf, Relationship Manager, ICT Academy, Adil Yousaf, and Dr. Samiksha Suri, Senior Technical Trainers from ICT Academy. Dr. Samar Dev Singh Charak, Secretary of Dogra Educational Trust, emphasized the importance of the acquired knowledge in empowering faculty to integrate digital tools into teaching methodologies and prepare students for the digital age effectively. Dr. Shefali Sharma, ICT Academy Coordinator, shared insights from the workshop’s technical sessions, highlighting topics such as Digital Marketing trends, market research, tools exploration, Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, and social media marketing. The valedictory function, hosted by Dr. Bela Thakur, Principal of Dogra Degree College, saw participation from prominent figures including Dr. Gitika Sehgal, Dr. Vikesh Kumar Sharma, and Ms. Suchi Sharma. Faculty members, Dr. Aafiya Malik, Mrs. Kanchan Dubey, and Mrs. Gagandeep Kour, shared their learning experiences.The program was skilfully anchored by Ms. Priyanka Sharma, with Mr. Ravinder Kumar served as the rapporteur for the technical sessions throughout the five days.
