Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) District President Jammu South Rekha Mahajan today took a jibe at the Congress party over their election manifesto for Lok sabha, saying that it was not a manifesto of the Congress, but the letter of lies and always misguided the innocent public of all segments. During the meeting with BJP workers here at party headquarters, Jammu. Rekha Mahajan said, it is not a manifesto of the Congress, it is a letter of lies and tore into the Congress, terming its manifesto as a “hypocrisy document” which was “full of lies”.
Rekha, indirectly aimed at Congress, asserted that if the previous governments had worked honestly, the guarantees they gave would have been fulfilled 50 years ago. She said that today people are yearning. Not just one but many promises were given, all of them turned out to be false and today again presented a letter of lies,” Rekha Mahajan said. Rekha asserted that the public is not going to trust these lies because the public knows that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) does whatever it says and in the last successful ten years of good governance “Modi ki guarantee” fulfilled all promises, especially in the union territory of J&K. She further said that the public knew the truth of Congress and would not be confused. Rekha emphasized that Congress always did the politics of appeasement play with the emotion of the innocent people and always cheated and misguided them. She added that some political parties cannot understand the simple point that they can achieve nothing by making false announcements. She remarks that the public knows everything and will give a befitting reply to the Congress party in the upcoming polls. Rekha highlights in her address that it has been the tradition of Congress that it has been misleading the people of the country for the last 70 years and has been playing with their emotions, but today the public has understood everything and believes in Modi’s guarantees and countless schemes and wants to come forward. In future, only because of Modi’s guarantee the mission will cross 400 plus and the BJP government will be formed with the majority.
Rekha said I express my gratitude to the people of the country for electing Prime Minister Modi ji has done what no one had even imagined during his successful tenure of 10 years. Rekha recounted, PM Modi is a tall example of a strong and decisive leader who can deliver what he promises. She stated that “Modi ki Guarantee” covers a wide range of promises across sectors, citizens, and schemes. Modi ki Guarantee means a steadfast commitment to the welfare of the people. Modi ki Guarantee means a Viksit Bharat, Shrestha Bharat. It is a guarantee for the development of the youth, empowerment of the women, welfare of the farmers, and all those marginalized and vulnerable who have been ignored for decades Rekha added.
