Asserting that the Apni Party has received unshakeable support from across all the regions in Jammu, and Kashmir; the Party’s Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh today said that the traditional political parties have disappointed the people with their divisive agenda and hollow slogans.
“The political parties have attempted to create wedge between two regions of Jammu and Kashmir that has led to uncertain atmosphere and a sense of insecurity among the people,” said the Former Minister, during the fourth celebration of foundation day of the Apni Party here at Mathwar in Nagrota Constituency in Jammu District.
The program was organized by SC Wing, State President, Bodh Raj Bhagat.
In his function, the Provincial President, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh hoisted the Party flag at the office premises and held a meeting following the celebrations with the Party leaders, and workers.
During the meeting, Manjit Singh pointed out the support the Party has received from all the segments of the society and political workers/activists from across the region have been joining the Party fold.
“These joining are happening because the Party has gained support from the people, and they have posed faith in the leadership, and policy of the Party that has shown commitment towards the unity of Jammu and Kashmir, and protecting the rights of the people,” he said.
He said that the traditional parties tried to divide people on the name of region or religion and policies like autonomy and self-rule were floated to allegedly mislead the people of Jammu and Kashmir. In Jammu, the situation was similarly being molded.
At the time, when the people were unable to decide what is their actual representative, he said that the Apni Party came to the forefront as a ray of hope following August 5, 2019, when other parties were not ready to represent the people whom they misled for decades.
Referring to the underdevelopment, and negligence of the rural areas in Nagrota constituency, he criticized the authorities for their failure to equally develop the rural areas of Jammu District.
He said that the constituency has become the victim of a biased approach towards development.
He however extended his support to the people and demanded that these neglected areas should be equally developed by providing them basic amenities, road infrastructure, clean drinking water, health infrastructure, and educational facilities.
Meanwhile, Bodh Raj Bhagat also spoke on the occasion, while highlighting the difficulties faced by the people in Mathwar.
Among these issues include the concern of the people about poor basic amenities and road connectivity.
Provincial Vice President, Jammu, Ex-MLA Faqir Nath, Vice President of Youth Wing, Apni Party, Vishal Nariana, and other leaders were present in the meeting cum celebration of foundation day at Mathwar.
