Shiv Sena (UBT) Jammu and Kashmir unit has announced to provide free tailoring and beautician training with the aim of making women self-reliant and providing self-employment opportunities.
In a special program organized today on Women’s Day at the party state office
State Chief Manish Sahni said that on the occasion of this special day With the aim of making women and girls self-reliant, a one-month free tailoring and beautician course has been started by them . After completion of which, all possible help will be provided for self employment along with certificate. Sahni said that
The percentage of women in terms of employment is very low. The Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir stands far behind compared to other states regarding women employment. The rate of female unemployment in Jammu and Kashmir is 72 percent, which is a matter of serious concern. Sahni said that women interested in this course can register themselves at the party office. The duration of the will be one month and it will be completely free. Sahni said that very soon such free centers will be opened at the district and tehsil level and women will be provided training and shown the path to employment. On this occasion, about two dozen women joined the party, influenced by party policies and ideas. About a dozen women present on the occasion also got themselves registered for the said courses. President Women Wing Meenakshi Chhibber, General Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Vice President Sanjeev Kohli, Balwant Singh, President Kanghar Wing Raj Singh, organiser Imran Sheikh , Shashi pal ,Mamata chibber , Kajal , Vijay Singh , Sanjeev Sharma were present on this occasion.
