The Mazdoor Dastkar Union Udhampur today felicitated Om Prakash, City President of JKNC for his unwavering dedication and service towards the community during a programme held today.
On the occasion, Shashi Syal, State General Secretary, Mohd Ashraf Sr Vice President, and Darshan Kumar, District President of the Union, were present.
Accepting the honour, Om Prakash expressed his appreciation for the support of the Union members and assured them of his backing in the resolution of their issues with the administration.
He also promised that if the National Conference is voted to power in the upcoming Assembly elections, their issues would be accorded priority attention.
Om Prakash emphasized the National Conference’s commitment to their vision of supporting labour communities in addressing their pressing challenges. He said that it is essential to work cohesively with worker representatives to support and elevate labour rights in the area.
