The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Jammu Mahanagar strongly condemns the reprehensible incident that took place at Government Medical College (GMC) Jammu two days ago. A group of individuals, identified as Islamic Jihadis and purportedly students of GMC Jammu, defaced the walls of the hostel with derogatory slogans such as “Sanatan Murdabad” and “Hindu Kafir Hai.”
ABVP Jammu Mahanagar Secretary Arman khajuria Said, ” These bloody islamic Jihadi are the Rust of the Bharat and they are going to become doctor in future just think about the mentality of these bloody Islamic jihadis who are never in favour of Bharat and are always against the Hindus.
This act of vandalism not only displays a blatant disrespect for diversity and religious harmony but also goes against the principles of coexistence that our educational institutions should uphold.
ABVP Jammu Mahanagar firmly believes in fostering an environment of mutual respect and understanding among students from various backgrounds.
In response to this incident, ABVP Jammu Mahanagar has organized a peaceful protest to urge the administration of Government Medical College Jammu to take immediate and strict action against the culprits. We call upon the authorities to ensure a thorough investigation into the matter and to implement measures that prevent such incidents from occurring in the future.
It is imperative that educational institutions serve as spaces for intellectual growth, cultural exchange, and harmony, rather than becoming arenas for promoting divisive ideologies. ABVP Jammu Mahanagar stands united against any form of discrimination or hostility and advocates for a safe and inclusive environment for all students.
