Jammu, 27 February : In a heartwarming effort to support girls and promote equality, the Social Welfare Department in Jammu organized a special event called “Beti Bacho Beti Padho” at the Mission Shakti Office in Preet Nagar, Jammu.
Drawing inspiration from the poignant slogan originated by the Government of India’s initiative, the event encapsulated the essence of “Save the Girl Child, Educate the Girl Child.” This resonant campaign underscored the pivotal significance of investing in girls’ education and nurturing an all-embracing society that champions gender parity.
With a steadfast commitment to its two foundational pillars, namely ‘Beti Bacho’ (Save the Girl Child) and ‘Beti Padho’ (Educate the Girl Child), the campaign embarked on a noble journey.
