Kick-starts slab work of Gyan Sadhna Yog Kendra at Ward 1

In a remarkable stride towards promoting India’s ancient culture and harnessing its vast knowledge legacy, Adv Purnima Sharma, Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for Jammu & Kashmir and former Deputy Mayor, today kick-started the slab work of Gyan Sadhna Yog Kendra at Ward 1, Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, the senior BJP leader said that the upcoming Gyan Sadhna Yog Kendra, a testament to India’s age-old traditions, will stand as a monument to the holistic practice of Yoga and spiritual enrichment. Estimated to be completed at a cost of Rs 37 lakhs, she said this Yoga Kendra is envisioned to become a hub for fostering well-being and inner harmony. This initiative is aligned with the Government’s commitment to revive and perpetuate India’s cultural heritage, she added.
Purnima highlighted the Modi Government’s steadfast dedication to steering the nation forward while honoring its roots. She expressed her conviction that the Gyan Sadhna Yog Kendra, under the patronage of Gyan Sadhna Yog Samiti, will be instrumental in furthering the party’s ideology of promoting the profound benefits of Yoga.
She also emphasized the larger vision of the BJP, citing the International Yoga Center at Mantalai as a testament to the Party’s unflinching support for preserving and sharing India’s ancient wisdom. She envisioned the Gyan Sadhna Yog Kendra as a significant stride towards empowering the local community with wellness practices that have stood the test of time.
