In his speech, S. Manjit Singh said that the bureaucratic administration has failed to take initiative to provide better infrastructure in Jammu and Kashmir’s institutions that deal with the public.
“The condition of health and educational institutions has not improved, but continuous complaints come regarding shortage of staff, equipment, and specialized doctors,” said Manjit Singh, while seeking attention of the Govt towards the important institutions.
He also said that the condition of roads, and basic amenities within the municipal limits of Jammu has also not improved even as the Smart City Project has been implemented and accordingly, certain city centers were developed with streetlights, wall paintings, hanging gardens, and renovating the streets of Jammu’s Gandhi Nagar and other areas of public attention.
However, the basic motive of improving the amenities in all the areas equally has not been achieved under the Smart City Project in Jammu’s municipal limits. Hence, the project has been grounded before it takes off, he added. He said that the city roads are jam packed with no parking slots and the businessmen suffer because of unplanned development by the Jammu Municipal Corporation.
He however assured that if the Apni Party will form the next Govt, it would work as per the expectation of the people, and Jammu would get its due share in infrastructural development.
Meanwhile, he highlighted the policy and agenda of the Party that would be implemented in Jammu and Kashmir for its equitable development in all the regions.

However, the Govt has failed to advertise all the vacant posts and hold fair selection process in all the Govt departments, he added, expressing anguish over the failure of the authorities to hold recruitment process in a regular manner.
