Shiv Sena Hindustan J&K President Pt Rajesh Kesri today welcomed PM’s scheduled to visit Jammu on February 20 (Tuesday) to inaugurate, dedicate to the nation and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth over Rs 30,500 crore relating to several sectors including health, education, rail, road, aviation, petroleum, civic infrastructure, among others. Addressing a press conference in Jammu, Kesri asked all those who want to listen to PM at MAM stadium to follow Advisory issued by SSP Security Jammu for general public.He said that the entry for participants coming from Distict Kathua, Samba, South Jammu across Tawi River, some areas of Udhampur-Reasi-Doda- Kishtwar-Ramban Districts shall be from Dogra Chowk side / Main gate of MA Stadium.”Entry of participants coming from Jammu North, District Rajouri- Poonch, Udhampur-Reasi-Doda- Kishtwar-Ramban Districts shall be from GGM Science College Jammu,” he said.
Kesri further said that as per advisory , people should reach in time for smooth entry before start of the rally by ensuring their entry before 9.30 AM.” People should also carry identity proof in the form of Aadhar card, Election card or Pan card or any other I.D proof.People should park their vehicle in the parking slots as per the parking slots identified /earmarked by Civil Administration and Traffic Police.
He appealed people not to carry any bag, Tiffin boxes, other eatables, water bottles, cameras, weapon, ammunition, sharp edge articles, inflammable material, cigarette, match boxes, lighters, umbrellas, any objectionable flag, any electronic gadgets etc.” The Mobile phones should be kept in switched off or silent mode,” he said.
Kesri said that no traffic movement shall be allowed beyond Dogra Chowk to P/S Nowabad Cut in order to ensure smooth flow of traffic there will be on ground restrictions/ diversions for smooth plying of vehicles, so that no inconvenience is caused to general public.Vehicle coming from Bikram Chowk towards Dogra Chowk shall be diverted from Dogra chowk to Vivekananda Chowk and JP Chowk for their movement.”Vehicles coming from Canal Head towards Dogra Chowk shall be diverted from Jewel Chowk– St. Peters School–Bus Stand –K.C crossing–Indira Chowk — JP Chowk — Dogra Chowk/ Vivekananda Chowk and from Indira Chowk towards Shalamar or Directorate Ayush Cut for their destination.”The General Public is requested to use Fourth Tawi Bridge of Gujjar Nagar Bridge for their movement from North to South and Vice Versa, added Kesri.
