Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta raised serious concern over the growing wedge between NC leaders Farooq Abdullah and Omar Abdullah’s stand on the “INDIA” bloc, foreseeing potential disaster for the alliance. In a statement issued here today, the senior BJP leader emphasized that the differing views within the family could lead to internal conflicts, weakening the unity and future of the alliance. Kavinder said that the Kashmir’s mainstream political parties have deprived and deceived Jammu and Ladakh regions for the last 70 years. “Abdullahs have become hungry for power and looted J&K for the past 70 years to impose their family politics and agenda,” he asserted.
Kavinder emphasized that the differences in National Conference regarding seat sharing are proof that the INDIA bloc is slowly losing its strength and viability. He stated, “It has become crystal clear that the India alliance has been used by parties as an alibi to suit their convenience at the cost of the interest of a common Indian. What is being projected is nothing but a white lie.”
Recognizing the simmering differences between the various parties within the “INDIA” bloc, Kavinder warned that it is only a matter of time before more “skeletons” come tumbling out of the bloc’s cupboard.
Kavinder firmly stated that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is the only competent entity capable of ensuring the country’s progress by leaps and bounds. He highlighted that parties within the “INDIA” bloc are weak and solely focused on overpowering each other, despite being part of the same amalgam. This, he believes, poses a significant threat to the country if these parties were to come to power. Kavinder, while emphasizing the need for a strong and united leadership that prioritizes the interest of the common people, said that there is none other than Prime Minister Narendra Modi who can lead this cause with unwavering commitment.
