In recent months, consumers across the nation have been grappling with the burden of skyrocketing prices in essential commodities, particularly mutton, fruits, and vegetables. The Union Ministry’s notification advised the Food Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs Department of Jammu and Kashmir to refrain from enforcing price control, citing orders under S.O. 145(E) dated 15.02.1990.
