Jammu and Kashmir police in Rajouri arrested one local drug peddlers and recovered a big consignment As per reports a team of police led by SHO Rajouri Inspector Aejaz Ahmed Wani under he supervision of DySp Headquarter Rajouri Ashwani Kumar on a a specific information a special naka was laid at Silaani bridge. During checking and frisking one pedestrian was put to thorough checking, on personal search 23 challies of charas weighing 500 grams was recovered from his possession. The pedestrian was identified as Saddam Hussain Shah s/o Muzaffer Hussain Shah r/o Phalnee Tehsil Budhal Distt Rajouri, accordingly case FIR no 57 u/s 8/20 ndps stands registered at ps rajouri. more recoveries are likely.
SSP Rajouri Amritpal Singh IPS told that under zero tolerance policy towards drugs abuse, a number of notorious drug peddlers have also been detained under PIT NDPS Act in the district.
