DPS Kathua witnessed a historic moment as Class IX students organized the first-ever Blessing Party for their seniors, the Class X students. This heartwarming initiative showcased the spirit of unity and support within the school community, marking a significant milestone in the school’s history.
The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the diya, symbolizing the auspicious beginning of the day. The talented girl band of Class IX enthralled the audience with soulful melodies, setting the perfect ambiance for the occasion. The energy soared as the girls presented a lively Bollywood mashup dance performance, followed by an electrifying bhangra performance by the boys, showcasing the vibrant cultural diversity of DPS Kathua.
Vivek Arora, the esteemed Principal of DPS Kathua, graced the event with his presence and addressed the gathering. He extended his heartfelt blessings to the Class X students as they prepare for their upcoming board examinations. Emphasizing the importance of discipline during exams, he urged the students to stay focused and dedicated towards their goals.
Additionally, Mr. Arora commended the Class IX students for their exemplary initiative in organizing such a memorable and meaningful event, applauding their teamwork and creativity.
Tajinder Kaur, the senior coordinator of DPS Kathua, conveyed her appreciation through a vote of thanks, lauding the Class IX students for their exceptional efforts in putting together a beautiful program.
