Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Friday asked the party cadre to counter the lies of opposition parties with full force to ensure resounding victory of the party in J&K in upcoming Lok Sabha poll.
The BJP stalwart leader was addressing a meeting of the party leaders and workers under the ongoing popular Gaon Chalo Abhiyan here in Booth No 87 at Nanak Nagar locality of Bahu constituency.
Kavinder said that in the name of pre-poll alliance opposition parties which are poles apart as far as their ideologies are concerned are concocting stories to misled the electorate against BJP and therefore it becomes solemn duty of each and every worker of the party to dispel all the wrong notions spread by NC, Congress and other constituents of India Bloc as this was utmost important to ensure that unprincipled parties do not succeed in swaying the people away from BJP’s nationalist agenda in J&K.
The former Deputy Chief Minister said that every party worker should accomplish his or her task with utter dedication as this was prerequisite for clean sweeping Lok Sabha and Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
Later, the senior BJP leader interacted with prominent persons of the Booth, beneficiaries of welfare schemes and sought feedback about various policies and programmes of the Modi government meant for the socio-economic upliftment of the different sections of society. He also focused on the upcoming plans of the party which will help propel the country towards becoming top economic power in the coming years as promised by none other than the PM Narendra Modi.
Kavinder Gupta also initiated the party’s logo on a wall and asked the party workers to ensure that the same logo should make space inside hearts of the people without any exception as there is no other party as nationalist as BJP.
Later, he also discussed strategy about strengthening the booth with the Booth President and Panna Parmukh and gave them suggestions to achieve the targets in minimum time as Lok Sabha polls are on cards and there is much to accomplish before the polling day.
