Akhil Bhartiya Vidhyarthi Parishad Jammu University unit in Colleboration with Vidyarthi Ceva Educational Trust organized a comprehensive discussion on the Interim Budget 2024. The event garnered active participation from faculty, students, and distinguished guests, including North zone organising secretary Vijay Pratap
The seminar commenced with a detailed presentation by Economist Professor Jasbir Singh providing an in-depth analysis of the budget’s implications on development and national planning.
North zone organising secretary Vijay Pratap shared insights into the government’s strategy for the country and addressed specific queries related to regional development goals.
ABVP JU President Sahil Choudhary said yuva (youth), women, Aandata ,those who give us food security, good farmers, and then the unfortunate poor, who still need some more support for them to get uplifted. So, (focus on) just these four groups, everything will be focused towards their betterment.
The seminar hall engaged with conversations as participants explored topics ranging from infrastructure projects to environmental conservation, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of development studies.
Eminent scholars and experts in the field contributed valuable insights, fostering a nuanced understanding of the economic policies outlined in the budget.
