The Hammers’ best chance of getting back into the game was stifled when Diogo Dalot made a fine sliding challenge to deny Jarrod Bowen, and they fell further behind soon afterwards. Seeing Lisandro Martinez, who has missed a significant portion of the season due to a foot injury, hobble off with a knee issue in the second half was the one unfortunate event on a fantastic day for Erik Ten Hag’s team.
