In a press statement Y.V. Sharma, Spokesperson, BJP JKUT, complimented the Union Finance Minister, for presenting forward looking interim Budget for the financial year 2024-25. The approach of the government in eradicating corruption, bringing transparency at all levels, developing modern technology to eradicate ills in the society and to give a fair deal to youth, women, farmers and depressed sections of the society will continue unabated according to the assertions of the finance minister. To boost the overall development of the country major schemes for giving loans at low rate of interest to new start-ups, establishment of a special body for research and innovations and renewed efforts for ameliorating the lot of farmers are the special features of this budget.
Sharma congratulated the Union Finance Minister for putting no new tax burden on the people and continuing all the concessions and incentives announced in the previous budget. He further said that the building of new houses for the poor will be continued in the coming year as indicated in the budget.
Three major economic railway corridor programmes will be implemented. These are: (1) energy, mineral and cement corridors, (2) port connectivity corridors, and (3) high traffic density corridors.
Sharma specially appreciated the move to add Vande Bharat coaches to most of the trains in the country. This will make the Railway journey cheap and comfortable for the people even in the remote villages. This is a special feature of the proposed Railway corridor as mentioned above.
Sharma expressed his hope and opinion that this interim budget will bring a sense of relief and satisfaction for all sections of Society
