JKPCC OBC Cell pays tribute to Late Sh Karpuri Thakur on his 100th birth anniversary

The Jammu & Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee OBC Department paid tribute to Late Shri Karpuri Thakur on his 100th birth anniversary at Congress Head Office Jammu on 24 January 2024. The event, presided over by Madan Lal Chalotra, Chairman of the OBC Department, provided a platform for meaningful discussions on the lasting legacy of Late Shri Karpuri Thakur and his unwavering dedication to the marginalized sections of society.
Chalotra emphasized that Jan Nayak Karpuri Thakur always fought for the upliftment of the poor, deprived, underprivileged, and backward communities. In his address, he highlighted the party’s commitment to inclusivity, social justice, and the principles embodied by Jan Nayak Karpuri Thakur. He stated that the celebration was not just about honoring the past but also renewing the commitment to building a more equitable and just future for all.
Darshan Mehra, State Coordinator of the OBC Department, expressed gratitude to the attendees for their active participation in the program.
