Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha following the directions of Tajesvi Surya, National President BJYM is spearheading and gearing up to celebrate the “Voters Day-Matdata Diwas” across the Union Territory. Set to unfold in every assembly constituencies of Jammu Kashmir, the NavMatdata Sammelan, scheduled for January 25, 2024, aligns with the vision set forth by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi with a commitment to engaging and registering new voters (Nav Matdata).
The event aims to instill a sense of civic responsibility among the youth. Notably, the unique aspect of connecting with 50 lakh first-time voters at 5000 different locations across the nation underscores the historical significance of this initiative.
President Arun Prabhat emphasized that BJYM Jammu Kashmir Takes Bold Strides: Pioneering NavMatdata Sammelan Across Union Territory in accordance with the guidelines from the Bharatiya Janata Party, and has conducted extensive outreach in schools, youth groups, homes, playgrounds, and coaching centers, ensuring inclusivity in reaching out to the youth across the Union Territory.
In line with the digital push, a user-friendly platform for Nav Matdata registration was launched on January 13 by BJP National President, Shri JP Nadda.

The portal simplified the registration process and offered outreach materials like logos, stickers, and a dedicated website. Educational exhibitions at all NavMatdata Sammelans will highlight the positive changes brought about by Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Further Arun Prabhat said that this initiative aims to provide a clearer understanding of India’s journey towards progress for the benefit of new voters. Local participation is a key focus, with Members of Parliament (MPs) and Former Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs) actively involved in the Sammelans. This approach seeks to foster a closer connection between political representatives and the youth, promoting a deeper understanding of civic responsibilities.
BJYM Jammu Kashmir extends a warm invitation to all residents, especially first-time voters, to actively participate in the NavMatdata Sammelan. By doing so, individuals contribute not only to their own democratic awareness but also to the collective vibrancy and progress of the nation.
