Shiv Sena Hindustan Youth Wing in Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory, under the leadership of President Ganesh Choudhary, orchestrated a grand procession to commemorate the pran pratishtha of the Lord Ram idol in Ayodhya. The procession, characterized by religious fervor and soaked in saffron, spanned from early morning till late in the evening in Bishnah constituency. Participants, comprising men, women, children, and youngsters, turned up in large numbers to partake in the celebration. The atmosphere in Bishnah was vibrant, with hymns and songs dedicated to Lord Ram resonating in temples. Special prayers were conducted, processions were taken out, rangolis adorned the streets, and bhandara events added to the festive spirit. The entire town was immersed in religious fervour as the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple in Ayodhya unfolded.
Addressing the gathering, President Ganesh Choudhary expressed his joy and emphasized the significance of the Ram Mandir for Hindus, considering it a momentous occasion that holds a special place in the hearts of the community. He remarked, “You see the happiness. It’s because it took 500 years to finally see the construction of the temple. There was a desire to build a Ram Mandir at the birthplace of Shree Ram, and it has been fulfilled after the decision of Ram Mandir and government support.”
Choudhary added, “As the Golden Temple is a special place for Sikhs, now, for Hindus, Ram Mandir has become a sacred place.” He further shared his overwhelming emotions, stating, “When asked about the excitement, I have never seen such excitement in my life. I feel like Shree Ram has arrived at my house.” Reflecting on the years-long struggle that led to the construction of the Ram Mandir, Ganesh stressed the importance of remembering those who played a pivotal role in making the dream of a Ram Mandir a reality. The completion of this historic project marks a significant milestone for the Hindu community, culminating a struggle that spanned centuries.
