To celebrate the Ram Lala Pran Pratishtha Samaroh& to promote the rich traditional culture of J&K ,Bhartiya Lok Sangeet Kala SansthanpresentedBhajan Sandhya atJanipur Jammu in close coordination with Sangam Tru art Production. The programe was inaugurated by Chief Guest by Sh. Yash Pal Sharma, Jammu Municipal Councilor ward no 35. The Guest of Honour were Sh.V.K.Magotra, Former Regional Director, Directorate of Field Publicity, Government of India, Mukesh Singh, Media Person-Newspaper – The Shadow and other prominent dignitaries were the Guest of Honors.The Traditional folk culture of Jammu province and specially awareness items prepared on the theme on “Ram Ayaege”, “Siya Ram Bajoo”, “Raja Ram Bajo Re- Mann Tulsa” & “Ram Naam Satya Hai “were presented. The items sung by the artists were ” RamSatuti”,” Ram Ji Teri Mahima teen log gaye ” , ” Kali Mata Bawe Basdi ” “Ram Naam Jap Le Banda Jootha Sansar hai”, “Jai JaiRam Ji “, ” Sukh Maihai sab sathidukhmaihai koi Ram”,” Siya Ram Jai Jai Ram “,etc. More than 2000 pilgrims came from the various parts of the country witnessed the program and highly appreciate. Earlier in his address of Dr. M.L.Dogra Chairman , BLSKS said , the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony, marking the sanctification of the idol of Ram Lalla-the youthful incarnation of Lord Ram-will witness participation from diverse societal sectors. ‘Pran,’ symbolizing life, and ‘pratishtha,’ portraying resolute establishment, intertwine in a dramatic act that breathes life into the deity. The conclusion of the Pran Pratishtha ceremony orchestrates a staggering metamorphosis, transforming the once inert idol into a living embodiment of the divine. Pran Pratishtha, a sacred term in Hindu religious practices, encapsulates the intricate ritual of consecrating deities and idols before they are embraced in worship. The festival is a part of the spring Navratri, and falls on the ninth day of the bright half of Chaitra month in the traditional Hindu calendar. This typically occurs in the Gregorian months of March or April every year. The Ram Mandir is a Hindu temple that is under construction in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is located at the site of Ram Janmabhoomi, the hypothesized birthplace of Rama, a principal deity of Hinduism. The site is the former location of the Babri Masjid which was built after the demolition an existing temple.Vishal Bhandara was also organized by the Committee members of ward no 35& 36.
Welcoming the dignitaries M.C.Kotwal, General Secty,BLSKS explained aims & objectives of the programme which have been assigned to the Sansthan for betterment of society in his key note address highlighted the various publicity and entertainment aspects of the song and drama division programs.
