Apni Party Provincial President, Jammu, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has said that the Apni Party would resolve the issues of youth, if the Party forms the next Govt in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Former Minister was addressing a joining program at the Party office in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu in which two prominent youth leaders from Vijaypur, Samba joined the Party.
Those who joined the Party include Anil Mangotra, and Sheetal Devi, both residents of ward number 5 in Vijaypur, Samba District.
While welcoming the new entrants into the Party fold, the Former Minister hoped that their joining shows that the youth have pinned their hopes with the Party’s agenda of equitable development and justice for all the sections of society.
In his address, he referred to the disappointment among the unemployed youth with lack of chances for Govt jobs in Jammu and Kashmir and grab of jobs in the private sector by outsiders.
“The youth have hopes with the Apni Party and its leadership, Syed Mohammed Altaf Bukhari because we worked for the people and all the regions equally without any discrimination,” he said, while criticizing the traditional political parties for trying to divide society for political gains.
He said that the Apni Party however believes in the unity in both the regions so that peace and prosperity can prevail in Jammu and Kashmir.
“The traditional political parties tried to divide the society on the name of region and religion. And the people especially the youth became the victims of their propaganda. Hence, they lost hope in their future,” he said.
He also demanded that the assembly elections should be held in Jammu and Kashmir at the earliest to address the growing concerns of the people, especially unemployed youth.
“The restoration of statehood is equally important. There shall be no compromise on the demands of the people. However, all the traditional political parties have failed to do justice with the people,” he said.
He said that if the Apni Party forms the next Govt in Jammu and Kashmir, it would resolve all the issues that affect the youth of both the regions.
