jammu: In a laudable move toward improving water accessibility, District Development Commissioner (DDC) Suresh Sharma has inaugurated a pivotal water project in the Maira Mandrian block, specifically in the Panchayat Nardi region.
The project, with a budget of 5 crore 27 lakh, aims to address water scarcity issues and ensure sustainable water supply to several localities, including Nardi Upper, Nardi Lower, Bala, and other areas within the Panchayat.
This initiative is part of the larger Mission Jal Jeevan, focusing on providing reliable water sources to every block in the Maira Mandrian region. The newly installed tubewell in Panchayat Nardi is set to play a crucial role in meeting the water needs of the local communities.
