Col Mahan Singh, Chairman of the District Development Council (DDC) in Kathua, affirmed that the various schemes initiated by the Modi government have played a pivotal role in elevating the prosperity and well-being of the people, significantly enriching the lives of citizens in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing a substantial gathering during the initiation of the Jan Samvad Abhiyan in several villages, including Nown Katora, Kiyari, Terra, Band, Lai, and Kothada falling under Jankhar and Ghagrore Panchayats of Basohli Constituency, Col Mahan Singh highlighted the positive impact of the central government’s initiatives on the lives of the residents.
The Jan Samvad Abhiyan, spearheaded by the DDC Chairman, aims to familiarize the people with the welfare schemes, achievements, and initiatives of the Modi government over the past decade. It serves as a successful program to establish direct communication with the public, gather authentic feedback, and disseminate information about the achievements and upcoming policies for public welfare.
Col Mahan Singh took the opportunity to review various ongoing development projects in the area, interacting with residents of the villages involved in the tour. The enthusiastic reception along the route underscored the positive sentiments of the local populace towards the developmental initiatives and schemes introduced by the central government.
Accompanying the DDC Chairman during the tour were notable figures such as Former Sarpanch Kewal Kumar, Sham Lal Kuderia, Nappa Ram, Mast Ram, and others. Their presence added to the communal dialogue, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the ground-level impact of government schemes on the lives of the people.
Col Mahan Singh expressed optimism about the continued progress and development in the region, attributing much of it to the sustained efforts and strategic policies of the Modi government. The Jan Samvad Abhiyan, he reiterated, serves as a bridge between the government and the public, fostering transparency, accountability, and a collective journey towards prosperity.
