Delphic Council of J&K organises Kavi Sammelan

In order to commemorate, the onset of new year, “The Delphic Council of Jammu and Kashmir” in collaboration with J&K Academy of arts, culture and languages organised “Manjari-2024”, a Multi Lingual Kavi Sammelan at KL. Saigal Hall, Jammu on 15th January, 2024. The programme was Moderated by Prof. (Dr.) Shahnawaz Parveen & Dr Sushma Rajput in well disciplined and coordinated manner with professional skills
Er Ashok Singh President, Delphic Council of J&K and Secretary General of Indian Delphic Council, welcomed Ms. Trishla Kumari, Special Secretary, Department of Culture, J&K who was the Chief Guest on the occasion and Mr. Bharat Singh Manhas, Secretary J&K Academy of Arts, Culture & Language, Jammu who was the Guest of Honour, Advisors. Poets, Guests from various disciplines of literary world. The presence of top people from the literary world, savoured, the glee of multi Lingual, Kavi Sammelan from all the Languages of the J&K
Ms. Trishilla Kumari, Chief Guest while speaking on the occasion, lauded the efforts of the Delphic Council of J&K who are working in 6 Art Categories of the Delphic Council in J&K and especially the dying Art & Culture which is the need of the hour. She also loud the role of JSK Academy of arts, Culture of languages for organising such Multi Lingual events, that creates harmony among the multifaceted society of J&K
Speaking on the occasion, Er. Ashok Singh, emphasized the role of languages that play an important role in country’s development and J&K being a Multi Lingual UT. there is need for organising such multi lingual events, which cohesive the society and also bridges the gap between different cultures. He appealed to the intelligentsia to promote all the State languages. He promised to carry forward such programmes in future also
Mr. Bharat Singh Manhas Secretary Cultural Academy while speaking said the J&K Academy is always at the forefront for collaborating with the organisations which are working for taking Art, Culture and Language of the UT to its newer hights and assured the Delphic Council for all possible help in future also.
While proposing vote of Thanks, Ms. Anila Singh Charak, Director Language Arts & Rhetoric thanked the chief guest and guest of honour, the participating poets and also. the organising team, comprising of Dr. Shanawaz from Cultural Academy, Dr. Ayash Arif Vice President, Mr. NN Thussu, Treasurer, Mr. Bishan Dass, Joint Secretary, Ms Vijay Puri, Mr. Mohan Lal Bhagat SSP, Mr. Ankush Sharma and Mr. Shabir Mujahid Advisors of the Delphic Council, Dr. Sushma Rajput, Dr. Gharo Choudhary. Er. Nirma S Chohan Mr. Vinod Verma Directors of the Delphic Council and Mr. Randhir Singh and Ms. Sheetal Verma Deputy Director of Social Arts & Communication the Council
The stage was taken over by the well-known poets Dr. Sushma Rajput, Randhir Singh, Bishan Singh Dardi and Meenakshi Kesar of Dogri Anila Singh Charak, Sanjeev Bhasin and Sheikh Mohd Kalyan of Hindi, Prof Shaad Ramzan of Kashmiri, Mr. Ayaz Rasool Nazki and Prof Zaman Azuldar of Urdu Er. Nirmal S Chouhan of Bhaderwahi Ms Naseem Akhter of Gojri and Mr. Sheikh Zahoor of Pahari. The artists mesmerised the audience with their poetic skills and instant humanitarian message
