Fueled by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s leadership, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is making strides in advancing prosperity in Block Vessu, Anantnag. The VBSY IEC Van’s visit to L.G.Pora A, L.G.Pora B, Malpora, L. G. Pora C, and Furrah GPs resonates with a remarkable upswell of public engagement, symbolizing a united dedication to fostering development in the region.
Embarking from Khunti, Jharkhand, on November 15, this Yatra signifies a meticulous endeavor to promote awareness about a myriad of welfare schemes. Fostering active involvement through the ‘Jan Bhagidari’ initiative, the unprecedented nationwide initiative by the Government is poised to leave a lasting impact throughout the country, covering 2.60 lakh Gram Panchayats and over 4000 urban local bodies by January 25, 2024. Going beyond mere rhetoric, the Yatra transforms into tangible progress, surpassing expectations in Anantnag, uniting an impressive 2.50 lakh participants across 335 Gram Panchayats and 138 Urban local bodies.
Within the confines of Anantnag District, the Yatra camps have evolved into vibrant hubs, proactively involving the community in a myriad of events and providing immediate services. The health camps have played an indispensable role, screening 93,347 individuals for prevalent health issues including TB, sickle cell anemia, and non-communicable diseases.
A resounding commitment echoes in District Anantnag, with over 16,097 devoted My Bharat volunteers and an impressive 2.28 lakh individuals expressing their dedication through the transformative “Sankalp Pledge.”
Recognition is extended to noteworthy contributors, encompassing 1,288 women, 3,601 students, 396 local artists, and 397 sports personalities, underscoring their steadfast commitment to the cause.
Proactively engaging farmers, the Yatra showcased drone demonstrations and conducted Soil Health Card sessions, fostering the adoption of sustainable Natural Farming practices.
Milestones such as attaining 100% JJM saturation, ODF+ status, and the Digitization of Land Records were celebrated, reinforcing the unwavering commitment to sustainable development.
Central to the initiative were 9,777 beneficiaries who eloquently shared their stories in “Meri Kahani Meri Zubani” sessions, vividly illustrating the profound and transformative impact of government schemes on their lives.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra goes beyond being a mere initiative; it has blossomed into a grassroots movement for inclusive development. This journey serves as an embodiment of India’s unwavering commitment to comprehensive progress, actively involving, educating, and uplifting every citizen towards collective advancement.
