BJP concludes ‘Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyan’ on Swami Vivekanand’s birth anniversary

On the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of the great son of the soil, Swami Vivekanand, Jammu and Kashmir BJP concluded its two and half month programmes of ‘Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan’ on Friday at party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
BJP State president Ravinder Raina, General Secretary (organization) Ashok Koul and State General Secretary & former MLC Vibodh Gupta laid wreaths on the portrait of Swami Vivekanand and paid rich tributes to the great ideologue and youth icon. They also addressed a large gathering of the party activists of 25-40 years of age, who have rendered their services at the booth levels as main speakers in the ‘Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan” programmes during the last two and half months from October 24 to January 12, this month.
Ravinder Raina, while paying tributes to Swami Vivekanand, said that he was an institution in himself, who devoted his life to inspire youth to be part of nation building and strengthening the social fabric in society. Raina asked the youth to follow the life of Swami Vivekanand and adopt his principles in life.
Ravinder Raina also applauded the splendid performance of the main speakers in the ‘Booth Jan Samvad’ programmes across the Jammu and Kashmir UT.
Ashok Koul, on this occasion, spoke on the future programmes and stressed that the youth have an important role in reaching the people at their doorsteps and garnering public support for the party. He said that the main speakers in the ‘Booth Jan Samvad’ programmes have to remain in touch with the people at the booth level and keep sharing the splendid works of the Modi government.
Vibodh Gupta, also State Incharge of ‘Booth Jan Samvad Abhiyaan’, gave a clarion call to rise, follow the target and not rest it till the goal is achieved. He said that the youth is a great strength, full of enthusiasm and ever ready to take on challenges in life.
They must always be in working mode at the front and contribute in fulfilling the mission of Viksit Bharat by 2047, the target set by Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. He said that it becomes all the more imperative on the youth to take India from Amrit Kal to Swarn Kal, an era of complete development, peace, progress and prosperity.
He also counted a number of mega projects of Narendra Modi government, which have the potential of bringing vast changes in infrastructure and public welfare.
The proceedings of the programme were conducted by BJYM state president Arun Prabhat Singh.
