ABVP celebrates National Youth Day in honor of Swami Vivekananda’s Birth Anniversary

ABVP Jammu Kashmir marked the National Youth Day with a commemorative event throughout the state. Jammu Mahanagar celebrated this in Trikuta Yatri Niwas Amphalla, Jammu. The program, dedicated to Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary, featured insightful speeches by esteemed dignitaries.
The chief guest for the occasion was Mr. Suneet Kumar Raina, Director of Shree Institute of Education. In his address, he shared profound insights into Swami Vivekananda’s teachings and their relevance to the youth of today. Mr. Raina’s speech emphasized the importance of education and character building for the holistic development of students.
Dr. Ajay Kumar Sharma, President of ABVP Jammu Kashmir, graced the event as the guest of honor. Dr. Sharma delivered a compelling speech, highlighting Swami Vivekananda’s ideals and their significance in shaping the moral fabric of the youth. He stressed the role of ABVP in fostering a sense of national pride and responsibility among students.
The event brought together a vibrant gathering of students who actively participated in discussions and activities centered around Swami Vivekananda’s philosophy. The celebration not only paid tribute to the great visionary but also aimed to inspire and motivate the youth to contribute positively to society.
ABVP Jammu Mahanagar continues its commitment to nurturing the intellectual and cultural growth of the youth, following in the footsteps of Swami Vivekananda’s timeless teachings. State Secretary Akshi Billowria said that Swami Vivekananda show the path of Nationalalism to the youth of Bharat and in the spirit of ‘Seva’ (selfless service), ABVP initiated community service programs across the UT . Members actively participated in various initiatives, including blood donation camps, environmental conservation projects, and educational outreach programs, embodying the spirit of social responsibility advocated by Swami Vivekananda.
ABVP aimed at supporting students in their academic pursuits in many ways like Parisar Chalo Abhiyan .The organization reiterated its commitment to fostering an environment where education becomes a catalyst for positive change.
She said Abvp committed to carry forward Swami Vivekananda’s ideals, motivating the youth of Jammu Kashmir to be active contributors to the growth and development of the region and the nation.
At the end Arman khajuria (Secretary ABVP Jammu Mahanagar) do the vote of thanks to all the prominent present their in the programme.
